The 2006 UTEP Soccer Academy will be held in June at the Sun Bowl, Swimming & Fitness Center and the Multi-Purpose Field.

Three camps will be offered for children ages 5-18. UTEP head coach Kevin Cross and his staff of UTEP and local area coaches will offer individualized instruction with the help of past and present Miner players. Participants will receive a UTEP Soccer Academy t-shirt and soccer ball, courtesy of Price's Creamery.

The Soccer Under the Stars camp is for boys and girls ages 5-14. The nights will be fun-filled with soccer games and drills to help develop your child into a better soccer player. We will teach the fundamentals that every player should be learning at these ages. Sessions will be held June 5-9 and June 19-23 from 6-9 p.m. The cost is $95 per camper in advance or $110 if you sign up the day each camp begins.

The Soccer and Swim camp is back for its second year! It is available for boys and girls ages 5-12. This camp will focus on the basic techniques and fundamentals of the game, designed for beginners right up to advanced players. The pool will be monitored by several lifeguards as well as all the UTEP camp coaches. No matter how old, what level of experience, you are guaranteed fun playing soccer and the cool refreshment in the pool for our most popular camp...Soccer and Swim! This camp is held at the Multi-Purpose Field and the Swimming & Fitness Center Pool. Sessions will be held June 12-16 from 6-9 p.m. each day. The cost is $100 per camper in advance or $115 if you sign up on June 12.

No matter what level of experience you possess, get better by coming to our advanced camp where you will learn more advance skills to excel you above others in your age group. This camp will focus on individual and team development, concentrating on technical skills and team tactics. With college coaches, current and former UTEP players and the top level club and high school coaches, you are guaranteed the best coaching available! UTEP's Advanced Camp will guarantee you’ll become a better soccer player at the end of the week with better skills and a better feel for the game, while still having FUN!!! Sessions will be held on June 12-16 from 6-9 p.m. at the Sun Bowl. The cost is $95 per camper in advance or $110 if you sign up on June 12.
