UTEP senior kicker Jose Martinez nailed a 64-yard field goal - the second-longest field goal in NCAA history without the aid of a tee - at the end of the of the first half of UTEP vs. UCF in the Sun Bowl on Saturday.

The school and Conference USA record-setting kick trails only the 65-yard boot by former Kansas State standout Martin Gramatica. Gramatica drilled a 65 yarder against Northern Illinois in 1998.
