UTEP's Claude Britten tied for game high scoring honors as Team Conference USA fell to Team China, 92-88, on Friday night at Yangjiang Arena.

Britten poured in 17 points on 8-for-9 shooting from the field and 1-for-2 from the charity stripe. He also collected eight rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench. Britten is averaging 13.5 points and 8.5 boards through two games of Team C-USA's three-game China tour. He has made 13-of-15 field goal attempts (.867) in the two games. He also had three dunks on Friday.

UTEP's Julyan Stone played 14 minutes, missing two shots and securing one rebound.

Memphis' Doneal Mack scored 17 points, including four three pointers, for Team C-USA. The Tigers' Antonio Anderson and Robert Dozier added 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Team China, which shot 55 percent from the field, was led by Wang Shipeng's 17 points.

Team C-USA outrebounded Team China 49-29, but shot 43 percent from the floor and committed 20 turnovers. Team China also shot nine more free throws and was whistled for nine fewer fouls.

"When you're on the road - whether it's here or in the states - you don't expect to get the calls," Team C-USA coach John Calipari said. "And we're REALLY on the road here. We're FAR away from home."

The two teams will square off for the third and final time on Sunday night in Huizhou.
